Showing how the Baronets of the 1738 creation were related to those of the 1641 creation:

John ARMYTAGE, d.1606; m.1st Jane Gregory; m.2nd Margery Beaumont; Burke’s Extinct Baronetcies and Burke’s Peerage 1959 say that all his children were from 1st marriage, while Betham says that all children were from second marriage; Burke’s Peerage 1914 has the children numbered 1 through 4 as from the 1st marriage, and the ones numbered 5 and 6 from the second marriage
1.John, of Kirklees, d.1650; m.Winifred Knight
..
1.3.Sir Francis Armytage, of Kirklees, cr Baronet 1641 (ca 1600-bur 12 Jun 1644); m.1629 Catherine Danby (bap 29 Feb 1612-bur 13 Jan 1666), gdau of Lord Morley
1.3.1.Sir John, 2nd Bt. (bap 15 Dec 1629-bur 9 Mar 1677); m.by 1651 Margaret Thornhill (bap 1 Feb 1634-bur 10 Feb 1695)
1.3.1.1.Sir Thomas, 3rd Bt. (bap 10 May 1652-Feb/May 1694)
1.3.1.2.Sir John, 4th Bt. (bap 14 Apr 1653-2 Dec 1732); he left Kirklees, after his last brother’s death, to his cousin Samuel Armytage, of Barnsley (below)
...
1.3.1.7.Sir George, 5th Bt. (bap 23 Aug 1660-bur 24 Apr 1736)
...
1.3.2.Francis (bap 3 Jan 1632- fl 1695); m.Mary Trappes
1.3.2.1.Sir Thomas, 6th Bt. (bap 31 Jul 1673-12 Oct 1737); he was passed over in the succession to the estates under the will of the 4th Bt., probably because he was already elderly and childless, and on his death this Baronetcy became extinct, but a new creation was made for his cousin (below)

...

3.Edward, of Kerresforth Hill; m.1st 26 Oct 1607 Elizabeth Hanson; m.2nd Jane Popley
[by 1st m.]:
3.1.[ex 1] John, of Kerresforth Hill (1610-    ); m.1st Mary Whitley; m.2nd Elizabeth Dransfield
...
3.1.6.[ex 2] George (1661-Apr 1709); m.1690 Magdalen Usher
...
3.1.6.2.John, of Kerresforth Hill, d.23 Apr 1748; m.1723 Lydia Rawson; note his death date per Cokayne, but Burke’s 1914 says he d. before 1733; the 1733 date might be presumed because his brother Francis, and not he, was named as heir to the Kirklees estate
...
3.1.6.4.Samuel, of Barnsley; he suc in 1736 to the Kirklees estates under the will of Sir John, 4th Bt. (above) and was created a Baronet 1738 as Sir Samuel Armytage, 1st Bt.; (bap 5 May 1695-19 Aug 1747); m.by 1724 Anne Griffith (bur 27 Nov 1738)

Thanks, Paul, for this post.

DPB Online hasn't updated the page yet, but it appears the new (10th Baronet) is Hugh Anthony ARMYTAGE (b. 1955).  He is the son of David George ARMYTAGE (1929-2015), descended from a younger son of the 7th Baronet.

His only son, GEORGE ALEXANDER (B. 2001) is the heir apparent.

Behind him are the following males:

2. Charles David (b. 1962), brother of the new baronet.
3. Harry Charles George (b. 1992), elder son  of #2.
4. Alexander Hugh Edward (b. 1995), younger son of #2,
5. Marcus David (b. 1964) , son of Roderick Charles (1934-2014), the younger brother of David George
6. Arthur Roddy (b. 2004), son of #5.
