From the Telegraph of 19 March 2025: Idina (née Peacock) died peacefully on 10th March. Treasured wife to late Bill, devoted mother to James and Amanda, source of wonderment to her grandchildren Juno, Leo, Jake, Emily and Felix, also the most loyal of friends. Her Funeral will take place at 2 p.m. on 3rd April at All Saint's Church in Aisholt, Somerset, TA5 1AR. No flowers please but donations can be made to MIND, if you wish…

She was d of Hugh Myddelton PEACOCK 1905-81 and Marjorie Eva 1911-75 d of Lt-Col Edgar Hugh BRASSEY 1878-1946 (gs of Thomas BRASSEY 1805-70 who was f of 1^st Earl BRASSEY 1836-1918 and gf of 1^st Baron BRASSEY OF APETHORPE 1870-1958) and Margaret Harriet 1885-1966 d of Col Hon Walter Rodolph TREFUSIS 1838-85 (s of 19th Baron CLINTON 1791-1866, gs of 6^th Marquess of LOTHIAN 1763-1824, gt gs of 3^rd Duke of BUCCLEUCH 1746-1812, etc etc) and his wife & 2^nd cousin Lady Mary Charlotte MONTAGU DOUGLAS SCOTT 1851-1908 d of 5^th Duke of BUCCLEUCH 1806-84 and Lady Charlotte Anne THYNNE 1811-95 d of 2^nd Marquess of BATH 1765-1837 by his w a dau of 4^th Viscount TORRINGTON 1740-1812. She m 1957 Capt James William Gordon 1932-95 s of Lt-Col Gordon Murray PIRIE 1899-1939 by his 5 Aug 1925 m (Holy Trinity, Brompton) to Margaret Joyce 1901-48 d of William George MILLAR c1874-1961 by his 1899 m to Dorothy Maud STANDAGE 1879-1932, and had a son and a dau.
