According to Scotland's People Lysander Thomas M-D-S could be another son for Walter Montagu-Douglas- Scott (Earl of Dalkeith) (son & heir of 10th Duke of Buccleuch & Queensberry & his late wife Lady Elizabeth Kerr (died 2023) daughter of 12th Marquess of Lothian) & Elizabeth Cobbe. The Earl and Countess were married in 2014

Their other children are:
WILLOUGHBY RALPH M-D-S (BARON ESKADIL) B.2016
LADY HESTER FLORENCE B.2016 (BOTH REG GRO Q4 WESTMINSTER) &
LADY DIDO ROSE B.2019 GRO REG Q1 HAMMERSMITH & FULHAM
(mother's name COBBE)
It appears that the Earl & Countess of Dalkeith are now living in the Scottish Borders

I cannot 100% confirm that Lysander is their child (but i am almost certain) if anyone can confirm me wrong then that's OK

Hi Patricia.

Great work, as always.

Was there  an obituary for Lady Elizabeth, that possibly included the names of her grandchildren?

The obits I've seen say that she had 4 children and 11 grandchildren.

I no longer have a Debrett's subscription, but in checking, thepeerage.com, 8 can be found: Molly, Robin and Iris (from Lady Louisa), the 3 from the Earl of Dalkeith as mentioned, and Rufus and Wilfred (from Lord Charles).

What does Who's Who list for the number of children that the Earl of Dalkeith has?

Patricia,
Just to note a spelling error occurred in relation to Willoughby as the courtesy title is Lord Eskdaill.
Grandsons of the Duke of Buccleuch have not always born this title-they have sometimes been styled Lord Scott of Whitchester or Lord Whitchester.Lord Scott of Whitchester was one of the subsidiary titles of the Duke of Monmouth and although the titles were the subject of an attainder, the subsidiary titles to the Dukedom were later restored.
As the Dukedom of Buccleuch is a Scottish title, the correct name of Willoughby for legal purposes is Master of Dalkeith(his father is Master of Buccleuch).
