Adored mother of Sara, Simon, Jonathan, Lucy and Matthew (deceased) and loving grandmother to Freddy, Harry and Arthur. She was the d of Leo Forbes O’CONNOR 1899-1958 and Daphne Mary 1909-89 d of Col Wilfrid BYRON 1871-1936 (gs of 7^th Baron BYRON 1789-1868) and his w & 1^st cousin once removed Sylvia Mary 1880-1952 d of Rev Charles Thomas MOORE 1847-1924 and Mabel Charlotte BYRON 1853-1929 (gd of 7^th Baron BYRON 1789-1868). She m 1952 (div 1983) John Michael 1925-2018 2^nd s of Cmdr Kenneth Gordon POLAND RNVR 1896-1970 sometime head of that gentry family of Bramshott and Hester Mary Beatrice 1902-93 d of Sir Trevor John Chichele CHICHELE-PLOWDEN KCSI 1846-1905 scion of the PLOWDEN of Plowden gentry family and Hon Beatrice Mary Teresa FITZHERBERT 1862-1949 d of Basil Thomas FITZHERBERT 1836-1919 (f of 12th & 13^th Baron STAFFORD) and Emily Charlotte STAFFORD-JERNINGHAM 1835-1881 (gd of 8^th Baron STAFFORD 1771-1851), and had 3 sons and two daus as above.
