From the Times of 28 March 2015: HANNAY Gillian Rosemary (Lady Hannay of Chiswick) died peacefully. At home on 26th March after a long decline in her health. Greatly loved wife of David and mother of Richard, Philip, Jonathan and Alexander. No flowers please, donations to Children at Risk Foundation UK through Just Giving will be greatly appreciated.
She was d of Hubert REX of Exmouth, Devon (1909-62) and Dorothy HAMMOND. She m 1961 the LP Baron HANNAY OF CHISWICK GCMG CH (b 1935) and has 4 sons as above, the youngest of whom has m a scion of the GAINSBOROUGH earls and has issue.
