From the Telegraph of 12 June 2024: BROOKS The Hon Lady Ann died peacefully at home on 8th June aged 93. Loving mother to Lucy, Nicola, Richard, Andrew and Julian, as well as to 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A private family funeral will be held at Wistow in late June, followed by a thanksgiving service in September.

She was d of 4^th Baron COTTESLOE 1900-94 and his 1^st w Lady Elizabeth HARRIS 1906-83 d of 5^th Earl of MALMESBURY 1872-1950 and Hon Dorothy GOUGH-CALTHORPE 1885-1972 d of 6th Baron CALTHORPE 1829-1910 and Maud Augusta Louisa DUNCOMBE 1850-1925 (gd of 1^st Baron FEVERSHAM 1764-1841 and of the 1^st Earl CAWDOR 1790-1860, as well gt gd of 2^nd Marquess of BATH, 2xgt gd of 5^th Earl of CARLISLE 1748-1825, etc etc etc). She m Sir Timothy Gerald Martin KCVO KStJ 1929-2014 s of Hon Herbert William BROOKS 1890-1974 (s of 2^nd Baron CRAWSHAW 1853-1929 and gs of Sir Michael HICKS-BEACH 8^th Bt 1809-54) and Hilda Muriel STEEL 1886-1967, and had three sons and two daus as above.
