Adored mother of Henry, Alison, Kitty and Sarah, and loving grandmother. She was d of Arthur CLOUDESLEY SMITH 1892-1987 by his 1922 m reg Q4 Hants to Nancy Kathleen CASE 1902-. She m 1st 1953 Arthur Henry 1926-59 s of Lt-Col Arthur Stuart BELLINGHAM (3x gt gs of Col Alan BELLINGHAM c1709-96 f of Sir William BELLINGHAM 1st Bt c1756-1826) and Jean ARTHUR d 1979 (gd of James ARTHUR of Carlung 1819-85 f of 1st Baron GLENARTHUR 1852-1928), and had a son (Sir Henry Campbell Bellingham Kt MP b 1955 & distantly in line to the Btcy by special remainder & m to a scion of the GUILFORD earls) and a dau (Elizabeth b 1956 previously the wife of Sir Richard Charles ROWLEY 9th Bt before he succ. to the btcy.). She m 2nd Lt-Col Ian Bruce s of Maj Hon Arthur Malcolm Augustus 1896-1963 (s of Col James Evan Bruce BAILLIE d 1931 scion of that Scots gentry family of Dochfour and Baroness BURTON in her own right 1873-1962) and Rosemary LAYCOCK, and had a further two daus.
