He was the son of Edward James Dudley CORY-WRIGHT (1932-2006) scion of the Cory-Wright baronets (1903) being descended from the yr son of the 1st Bt, and (m 1955) Jean Olive YOUNG (d 2018).  He m (1) 1978 (div 1993) Susan Laura BRICKNELL and (2) 1995 Jill Wendy Ann WILLIAMS (d 2016) and had a s by his 2nd m.
