From the Telegraph of 19 Feb 2024: PEAKE Margaret Elizabeth, known as Min, mother of Roland, grandmother of Freddie, Benny and Theo Vernon. Beloved widow of Venerable Canon Jeremy Peake, lately of Zambia, Athens, Vienna and Somerset. Died on 6th February 2024, aged 90, in Yeovil, after a sudden short illness. Memorial Service on Thursday 11th April 2024, 2 p.m., in the Quire of Wells Cathedral.

She was d of Reginald Thornycroft VERNON 1892-1977 (gs of Sir William VERNON 1^st Bt 1835-1919) and Margarita Grace 1898-1989 d of Joseph CONSTANTINE 1856-1922 (shipowner) of Harlsey Hall, Northallerton, Yorks and Marion Loudon 1862-1957 d of William WHITESMITH 1817-91 and Elizabeth Millar LOUDON 1826-1913. She m 1972 Ven Canon Simon Jeremy Brinsley 1930-2009 second s of Sir Charles Brinsley Pemberton PEAKE GCMG MC 1897-1958 sometime head of that gentry family of Cottrells and Catherine Marie 1904-92 d of William George KNIGHT CIE 1858-1943 (formerly Kuchler, deed poll 1919) by his 4 Dec 1900 m (Calcutta) to Emily Mabel 1872-1957 d of Robert KNIGHT 1825-90 (journalist) by his 1853 m to Catherine Hannah 1837-1918 d of William Hugh PAYNE 1810-76 by his 14 Dec 1835 m (Bengal) to Catherina Johanna RODYK 1814-70, and had a son as above.
