The following per BP 1999, the Landon pedigree in the Visitation of England and Wales, vol. 11, and Burke's Extinct and Dormant Baronetcies (2nd ed., 1844), supplemented by probate records etc:

- Roger Palmer Landon and Betty Eden's marriage having taken place in 1933 per BP 1999 and U.K. records, I checked the birth year of Daphne Joan Landon which per FreeBMD's records was 1934 rather than 1931.

- Roger Palmer Landon, of Arras House, Bulford, Wilts., 2nd s. of Col Aislabie Landon (1842-1923), Bengal Infantry, of 3, Heavitree Park, Exeter, Devon and (m. 1873) Joan Mary, dau. of Edward Giffard, of Spring Grove, Hampton, Middx., and of Kilcorral, Co. Wexford, Secretary of the Transport Board [s. of Sir Ambrose Hardinge Giffard, Chief Justice of Ceylon- see BLG, Giffard of Brightley, of which family Edward Giffard was head at the time of the 1847 edition]. Aislabie Landon eldest s. of Charles Ginkell Landon (1803-1861), of Tiverton, Devon, formerly of Heanton Punchardon, nr Braunton, Devon, educ. Clare Coll., Cantab., Capt., 8th Bengal Native Infantry and (m. 1837) Louisa (1809-1887), dau. of Benjamin Aislabie, of Lee Place, Kent, and Park Place, Regent's Park [given these details, evidently https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benjamin_Aislabie , a merchant and plantation owner who was first Hon. Sec. of the M.C.C.]. C. G. Landon eldest s. of Rev. Charles Richard Landon (1766-1834), of Littlebury, Essex, rector of Vange, Essex 1809-, and (m. 1802) Caroline Mann, dau. of Josiah Harrop, of George Yard, Lombard Street, London. Rev. C. R. Landon 2nd s. of James Landon, of Cheshunt, Herts., and Anna, dau. and heiress of Philip Palmer, of Richmond, Surrey, brother of Sir Charles Palmer, 5th Bt [of the extinct 1621 creation; see Burke's Extinct and Dormant Baronetcies 2nd ed., 1844].
