From the Baronetage analysis on the baronetage.org website it would appear that the heir presumptive to the Chitty Baronetcy of the Temple (cr 1924) (and uncle of the present Baronet), Michael Willes Chitty b 1929 may have died as the heir to this baronetcy is listed as his son,Sebastian William Chitty b 1958.

According to the probate indices - https://probatesearch.service.gov.uk/Wills?surname=chitty&yearOfDeath=2014&firstName=michael&advancedSearch=True&IsGrantSearch=True#wills - it appears he died 24 November 2014, the same year as his brother, the 3rd Baronet.

Other than the heir presumptive that you mention, I can find only one other heir, Robert Arthur Willes Chitty (born 1953), a great grandson of the 1st Baronet. The recent Standing Council of the Baronetage publication lists an heir born 2003. Who is this heir?

A search in Google and Ancestry led to a few more deaths in the Chitty family, that were not recorded in the last copy of Burke's Peerage I have (must admit that must be a rather old one).

- Michael Willes Chitty, died Detroit, Michigan, USA, 28 September 1996. Born 2 June 1930.
- Diana Read née Willes Chitty died in Toronto 6 May 1979, born 1890.
- (Norah) Elizabeth Wilson née Willes Chitty died on 1 January 2000. Born in Toronto.
