Funeral at St Botolph’s Church, Iken… at midday on Friday 19th July and afterwards at Church Farm. Family Flowers only. She was d of Capt Rt Hon Sir Alan Frederick LASCELLES GCB GCVO CMG MC 1887-1981 (gs of 4th Earl of HAREWOOD 1824-92 etc), sometime Private Secretary to King GEORGE VI & Queen ELIZABETH II, and Hon Joan Frances Vere THESIGER 1895-1971 d of 1st Viscount CHELMSFORD 1868-1933 and Hon Charlotte Frances GUEST 1869-1957 d of 1^st Baron WIMBORNE 1835-1914 and Lady Cornelia Henrietta Maria SPENCER-CHURCHILL 1847-1927 d of 7^th Duke of MARLBOROUGH 1822-83 (gf of British wartime PM Sir Winston [SPENCER-]CHURCHILL KG) by his a wife a dau of 3^rd Marquess of LONDONDERRY 1778-1854, as also gd of The Countess of ANTRIM 1778-1834 (d of 1^st & only Marquess of ANTRIM 1749-91), etc. She m 1^st 1949 the 2^nd Viscount CHANDOS 1920-80 and had two sons (incl present 3^rd Viscount) and two daus. She m 2^nd 1985 as his 2^nd w Hon David Hervey ERSKINE 1924-2004 (gs of 12^th Earl of MAR & [14^th] KELLIE 1865-1955, as well gs of 4^th Marquess of BRISTOL 1863-1951, etc etc).
