From the Telegraph of 17 Oct 2023: LUPTON Colina Margaret Helen (née MacDougall). Died peacefully on 5th September 2023, aged 91. Adored mother to Martin and David and beloved grandmother to Cosmo and Joe. Private service. If you wish to remember her please say a prayer and perhaps donate to the Catholic Children's Society.

She was d of Sir Railbert McIntyre MACDOUGALL KCMG CIE 1892-1949 and Agnes d of Edward McGUIRE. She m Geoffrey Charles Martineau 1930-2019 s of Hugh Ralph LUPTON OBE MC 1893-1983 (3xgt gs of David MARTINEAU 1726-68 sometime head of that gentry family of Clapton) and (Marjorie Edith) Joyce 1892-1970 d of Cyril RANSOME 1851-97 (f of the Swallows & Amazons author Arthur Ransome) and Edith Rachel BAKER BOULTON 1862-1944, and had two sons as above.
