Much loved husband of the late Carolyn and father of the late Clare and of Peter and Mark. Funeral to be held on Saturday 17th May at the Church of St Lawrence, Ecchinswell… at 2 p.m.

He was yr s of Maj John Hughes DRAKE OBE MC 1883-(Sep)1970 sometime head of that Scots gentry family of Inshriach and Muriel Rosdew 1887-(Aug)1970 d of Ven. Stamford Raffles RAFFLES-FLINT 1847-1925 scion of the FLINT gentry family of Hembury Castle and Ethel Maud QUENTIN d 1948. (Stamford succ his elder unm bro John Raffles Flint DRAKE 1909-97 as family head). He m Carolyn Mary 1930-2012 d of Sir George Robert MOWBRAY 5th Bt 1899-1969 and Diana Margaret 1950-96 d of Sir Robert Heywood HUGHES 12^th Bt 1865-1951 and Edith Agnes SKINNER 1868-1964, and had two sons and a dau.
