From the Telegraph and Times of 3 March 2020: TENNANT OF BALFLUIG Mark Iain died unexpectedly but peacefully on 18th February 2020 aged 87. Loved and loving husband of Harriot and father of Sophia and Lysander. Funeral at St. Mark's Church, Hamilton Terrace, London... on 12th March at 12 noon.
He was s of Major John TENNANT (1899-1967), scion of the GLENCONNER barons, and Hon Antonia Mary Roby BENSON (1903-77) d of 1st Baron CHARNWOOD (1864-1945). He m 1965 Lady Harriot PLEYDELL-BOUVERIE (b 1935) d of 7th Earl of RADNOR (1895-1968) and Helena Olivia ADEANE (1902-85) scion of the gentry family of that name of Babraham and of the HARDWICKE, RAVENSWORTH, SHEFFIELD and CADOGAN earls, STANLEY OF ALDERLEY and LECONFIELD barons, LEINSTER & RICHMOND dukes etc etc etc, and had a son and a dau.
