He was s of Judge John Charles Dundas HARINGTON QC. He was unm and is succeeded in the title by his brother:

And Kit Harington aka Jon Snow is dating Rose Arbuthnot-Leslie (acting as Rose Leslie), who played Ygritte in the same show. Her mother was born Candida Weld of that Roman Catholic family.

Rose's father Sebastian(paternally born Stainton) is the 14th head/representer of the gentry family of Leslie of Warthill,cadets of Wardis,senior cadets of the Clan Leslie,Earls of Rothes - who had an entry in BLG(The Kingdom of Scotland) - while his maternal grandmother Maria de la Luz was the dau. of Don Guillermo de Landa y Escandon,Gov. of Mexico City.

And speaking of the many people in show business with peerage or LG backgrounds, do we know that Hannah Jane Bagshawe (b. 1982), scion of Bertie dukes of Ancaster and a few carriage loads of other titled forebears, wife of Old Etonian Eddie Redmayne, gave birth to Iris May on the 15th of June? How about actress Olivia Wilde, nee Olivia Cockburn, scion of the Cockburn journalists, the baronets Arbuthnot, King James V of Scots, et al,, who gave birth to Daisy Josephine on 11th October? Daisy is her second child with "partner" Jason Sudeikis, the actor.
