He was s of Maj Philip Savile LOWSLEY-WILLIAMS 1899-1985 scion of that gentry family to which his son succ. as head on the death of his uncle in 1958, and Ida Moira Jennings 1900-80 d of Thomas Joseph CARROLL-LEAHY 1850-1919 sometime head of that Irish gentry family of Eglantine and Anne Mary HAROLD-BARRY d 1952 scion of that Irish gentry family of Ballyvonare. He m 1958 Rona Helena b 1936 d of Maj Angus McCORQUODALE 1950-ka1940 by his wife and 1st cousin Pamela Constance McCORQUODALE 1910-44 both scions of that gentry family of Cound Hall, and had a son and two daus. His son succeeds him as head of the family:
