From the Telegraph of 25 April 2026: CRESSWELL Vivienne Mary Patricia Cresswell (née Esmonde) died peacefully on 19th April 2026 aged 81. Beloved wife of Tim, devoted mother of Laragh and Dominie and adored grandmother of Kit, Ferdi and Zander. Private family cremation. A service of thanksgiving is to be planned.

She was d of Owen James ESMONDE 1905-93 (3xgt gs of Sir James ESMONDE 7 Bt 1701-67) and Eira Margaret Antonia 1913-2011 d of George Henry Louis MACKENZIE 1872-1960 (gs of Sir George Stewart MACKENZIE 7 Bt 1780-1848 of Coul) and Lilian Mary POPE d 1969. She m 1970 (Charles) Tim(othy) b 1941 s of Charles Patrick Skeffington CRESSWELL 1912-92 by his 1939 m reg Q4 Brecknockshire to Sidney Nancy Steyning BEARD 1911-2007, and had a son and a dau as above.
