From the Telegraph of 13 Jan 2024: WELBY-EVERARD Peter Rodney Earle died peacefully at home on 2nd January 2024, aged 81. Much loved husband of Jenny, father of Patricia, Christopher and Peter George, and grandfather of seven beloved grandchildren. A Thanksgiving Service will be held at Knowle Parish Church… at 12.30 p.m. on Tuesday 30th January 2024. No flowers please, donations if desired to Marie Curie Hospice, West Midlands.

He was s of Maj-Gen Sir Christopher Earle WELBY-EVERARD KBE CB 1909-96 (gt gs of Sir William Earle WELBY 2^nd Bt 1768-1852) and Sybil Juliet Wake d 1994 d of Guy SHORROCK 1867-1941 and Emma Blanche 1868-1909 d of Adm Charles WAKE 1824-90 (s of Sir Charles WAKE 10^th Bt 1791-1864) and Emma 1832-1920 d of Sir Edward ST AUBYN 1^st Bt 1799-1872 (f of 1^st Baron ST LEVAN 1829-1908) and Emma KNOLLYS c1806-87. He m 1972 Jennifer Frances d of Lt-Col Samuel Terencce Cracroft PARSONS-SMITH of Andover, Hants, and had two sons and a dau as above.
