From the Telegraph of 20 December 2013: TORDAY PAUL LASZLO died peacefully at home on 18th December 2013. Much loved husband of Penelope, father to Piers and Nicholas, step-father to Jonathan and Charles, grandfather to Ruby, Star & Laszlo. A private funeral service will be held at St. Giles', Chollerton, N'land on 23rd December at 10.00am.
He was s of Dr Laszlo TORDAY (1921-2000) of Newcastle upon Tyne. He m 1st 1971 Jane Clare MORTIMER (b 1949), scion of the PENDER barons, and had two sons (Piers Francis b 1974 and Nicholas Laszlo b 1976). He m 2nd 1991 (reg Q4 Northumberland, as her 3rd h) Penelope Josephine d of Lt-Col Richard Ian Griffith TAYLOR DSO MC JP DL of Chipchase Castle, Northumberland, scion of the 1st & last Baron BUCKLAND, (formerly Mrs Julian Morrison-Bell of the Bts of that name - by whom she has a s who is 3rd in line to the Btcy - and previous to that Mrs Robert Elkington, scion of the WOLVERTON barons).
