Irwin/Clarkson marriage

The marriage took place 14 October, 2006, at at the Church of St John
the Evangelist, Sutton Veny, between James Charles Wood, styled Baron
Irwin (b. 24 Aug 1977), a godson of HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, only
son of the 3rd Earl of Halifax (b. 14 Mar, 1944), of Garrowby, York,
and the Countess of Halifax, & Georgia E. Clarkson, only daughter of Mr
Patrick Robert James Clarkson. QC (b. 1 Aug 1949), of Sutton Veny,
Wiltshire, a Recorder since 1996, by his wife the former Bridget
Cecilia Doyne, and granddaughter paternally of Commander Robert Anthony
Clarkson, LVO, RN. The Countess of Halifax is the former Camilla
Younger, daughter of Charles Younger, and former wife of Richard
Eustace Parker Bowles, scion of the Earls of Macclesfield.

Deaths: The Times 26/06/2013

Commander Robert Antony Clarkson, LVO RN on 20th June 2013, aged 92 years. Beloved husband of Sheila for 66 years and much loved father of four sons, twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral at All Saints Church, Crudwell on Monday 8th July at 2.30 pm.
