I might add that Lady Ramsbotham was a scion of the Dickinson family of Stocksfield (see BLG 1952) and of the
barons.
This Dickinson family were Newcastle solicitors and gave their name to the law firm Dickinson Miller & Turnbull, which merged with Dees & Thompson in the 1970s to become Dickinson Dees until 2013, when it merged with Bond Pearce to become Bond Dickinson, which itself merged with an American firm in 2017 and is now trading as Womble Bond Dickinson.
