From the Times of 23 May 2026: FOOT Bridget Mary (née Malcolm) on 17th May 2026 died in Reims, France. Sister to Richard and John, mother to Mark, grandmother to Alex, James, Helen and Tiger, great-grandmother to Peggy, Rocco and Emma. Cremation will take place in Reims on Wednesday 27th May at 15h00. A separate service of remembrance will be held in England at a date to be decided.

She was d of Col George Ian MALCOLM OF POLTALLOCH 1903-76 sometime head of that Scots gentry family and his 1 wife (her 1 h) Enid Sybil (Mrs Richard Tangye) 1907-2006 d of Maj-Gen Herbert Stuart GASKELL CB DSO 1882-1957 of Lyme Regis, Dorset and Sybil Ann Louise 1881-1966 d of Charles Edward Mogridge HUDSON 1845-1922 scion of that gentry family of Wick House by and Emily Augusta WHITEHEAD 1841-1909. She m 1956 Dennis Frederick s of Frederick FOOT of Fordwych Road, London, and had two sons
