From the Times of 9 Feb 2021: FRASER Philippa (née Guise) on 30th January 2021, aged 94, of Moniack Castle, Inverness, widow of Sandy Fraser, died peacefully at home surrounded by her five surviving children and after receiving the Last Sacrament. The family will hold a private funeral.
She was d of Sir Anselm William Edward GUISE 6th Bt (1888-1970) and Nina Margaret (1897-1991) d of Sir James Augustus GRANT 1st & last Bt (1867-1932) and Nina Frances KENNARD (1870-1942) scion of that gentry family of Cawley Court. She m 1950 Maj Alastair Hugh Joseph (Sandy) (1919-86) s of Maj Hon Alastair Thomas Joseph FRASER (1877-1949 s of 13th Lord LOVAT (1828-87)) and Lady Sibyl GRIMSTON (1887-1968, d of 3rd Earl of VERULAM (1852-1924) and gt gd of 12th Duke of SOMERSET (1804-85) etc etc), and had 4 sons and two daus (the elder d, Arabella Mary (1959-2011, who m 1982 7th Baron HUNTINGFIELD (b 1954) and had four sons and a dau (Hon Vanessa Clare VANNECK 1983-2019))).
