_.Sir Geoffrey Adam Shakerley, 6th Baronet, who died suddenly, 3 December, 2012, aged 79, wasa society photographer who married a cousin of the Queen. He was born 9 Dec, 1932, son of Maj Sir Cyril Shakerley, 5th Baronet (1897-1970), by his wife the former Elizabeth Averil Eardley-Wilmot, scion of the Eardley-Wilmot Baronets (Bt, UK, cr 1821); succeeded to the baronetcy (cr UK, 1838), on his father's demise, 1970; married 1stly, 3 Jul 1962, the actress Virginia Maskell (who d. 25 Jan 1968); married 2ndly, 1972, Lady Elizabeth Georgiana Anson (b 7 Jun 1941), the party planner,scion of the Earls of Lichfield (Peerage of the UK, cr 1831), sister of the late 5th Earl of Lichfield (1939-2005), daughter of Lt-Col Viscount Anson (1913-58), by his 1st wife, Anne Ferelith Fenella Bowes Lyon (1917-80), scion of the Earls of Strathmore & Kinghorne ,later wife of Prince Georg of Denmark, and a niece of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, &c.

Sir Geoffrey leaves 2 sons, Nicholas and Peter, from his first marriage, and a daughter,Fiona, from his 2nd marriage. The elder son, Nicholas Simon Adam, born 20 Dec, 1963, inherits the baronetcy.

The Shakerleys divorced quietly a few years ago. So the reference in the death notice may refer to a 3rd wife
