Warrilow-Wilson and Lady Alicia Bridgeman - The engagement is announced between Philip, elder son of Mr and Mrs Simon Wilson, of Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, and Alicia, daughter of the Earl of Bradford, of Weston-under-Lizard, Shropshire, and Mrs Philip Porter, of Hungerford, Berkshire.

Lady Alicia Rose BRIDGEMAN (b 1990) d of 7th Earl of BRADFORD (b 1947) and his 1st w Joanne Elizabeth (b c1956, now Mrs Philip Porter) d of Benjamin MILLER of London (his elder dau Alexandra Jane m a scion of the HOME earls).

Some details on the Wilsons:

Simon P. Wilson seems to be Simon Philip Wilson (1960-), of Old Reddings, Manor Lane, Bucks.; there's no birth record I could find for Philip, but there is an Alexander Thomas Warrilow-Wilson b. 1993, mother Uppal, and 1982 marriage between Simon P. Wilson and Narinder Uppal.

Birth records for a Simon P. Wilson born 1960 (with a year or two leeway given either side just in case) numbered only three, with one, in 1962, discarded. Going for the more likely one- b. at Uxbridge, Middx., mother Piggot (sic) led to the 1957 marriage at Willesden of a Philip H. W. Wilson and June I. Piggott. These appear to have been Philip Henry Warrilow Wilson (1922-1981), of 32, Kenilworth Gardens, Hayes, Middx., and June I. (1929-), dau. of Reginald S. Piggott, of Chelsea.
