Walter Nicholas Strickland PhD was born in Salisbury, Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) on February 15, 1930, and passed away on July 17, 2015....
He is survived by his wife, Heidi Strickland, his daughter Gina Strickland (Mike Uri), son Robert (Amy) Strickland, step children Dan (Erin) Belnap, Melanie Lyons, Angela Belnap, and Debbie (Dave) Barlow, and 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Jessica Lissaman and Maud Blair. He was preceded in death by his previous wife, Marie Strickland and his brother, Robert Strickland.
Friends may visit from 6:00-7:00pm on Tuesday, August 28, 2015 at 5533 Eastview Dr,. Kearns, UT. A small memorial service for close friends and family will follow at 7:00 pm. Interment will follow a graveside service on Saturday, August 1 at 3:00 at the Bloomington Cemetery, Bloomington, ID.
