Beloved wife of Andrew, Earl of Elgin, and adored mother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt and grandmother. She was d of Maj Dudley George USHER MBE TD 1906-94 (2xgt gs of Andrew USHER 1782-1855 who was f of Sir John USHER 1st Bt 1828-1904) and Antonia Mary c1915-1997 d of Maj-Gen Sir Percival Spearman WILKINSON KCMG CB 1865-1953 and Cicely Mary 1891-1972 d of Walter Charles HUNTER BLAIR CB CMG 1860-1938 (s of Sir Edward HUNTER BLAIR 4th Bt 1818-96) and Ethel Mary LOGAN d 1935. She m 1959 the 11th Earl of ELGIN & [15th] KINCARDINE b 1924, and had 3 sons (incl the heir Lord Bruce b 1961 who is twice m with 3 sons and a dau) and two daus.

Ivan, you are partially correct in that Lord Christopher is the oldest member of the House of Lords
