She was d of Maj Sir Charles James BUCHANAN 4th Bt 1899-1984 and Barbara Helen 1906-86 d of Lt-Col Rt Hon Sir George Frederick STANLEY 1872-1938 (s of 16th Earl of DERBY 1841-1908) and Lady Beatrix TAYLOUR 1877-1944 (d of 3rd Marquess of HEADFORT 1822-94). She m 1966 Michael Denzil Grierson 1931-91 s of (John) Derrick Grierson CLAYTON 1903-73 and Audrey VILLIERS 1905-81 (3xgt gd of 1st Earl of CLARENDON 1709-86 etc), and had a son and a dau.
