Keziah Acloque's parents are Alan Howard Mitchell Kelsey and Sarah D'Oyly Kelsey according to company records; they were formerly of The Priory, Church Road, Little Walsingham, Suffolk.

Alan H. M. Kelsey m. 1977 a Sarah D. Sayer; she was b. Dec. 1950 according to company records.

I couldn't find a birth record for a Sarah D'Oyly Sayer or Sarah D. Sayer that fit; however, a first-quarter 1951 record for a Sarah J. Sayer, mother D'Oyly-Hughes seems likely.

Robin C. Sayer m. 1950, Janet D'Oyly-Hughes (1928-), dau. of Capt. Guy D'Oyly-Hughes (1891-1940), R.N., D.S.O. & Bar, D.S.C. by his wife (m. 1920) Anne Margaret Gladys Crawford (1898-1981). According to Wikipedia, he was born at Salt Lake City, Utah, son of British physician Samuel Hughes (later of Bally-na-Shee, 40, Kenard Road, New Milton, Hants.) and his wife Kezia (other sources give 'Keziah', which given her descendant's name makes sense). The way their names are listed implies- at least to me- the 'D'Oyly' was part of her name but not his, although I don't know the source of the information so it ought to be taken with a pinch of salt pending explanation. The death record of a Samuel D'Oyly Hughes b. 1863 likely relates to the individual in question, but I couldn't find a birth record for him, supporting the possibility that he incorporated his wife's surname/ part of her name into his own. [Edit- this appears to be the case as shown below]

The 1911 census has 'Samuel Hughes', b. 1863 at 'Ballinshire' (given his later Hampshire residence I'd imagine this to be 'Ballynashee'), County Antrim, resident at Southampton with his wife 'Kezia Doyle Hughes', b. 1867 at Bangor, Carnarvonshire.

An 1866 record for the birth of a Kezia D'O Watkins is supported by 1871 and 1881 census records of the Bangor household of John Doyly Watkins, b. 1829, Brixton, clerk in 1871, but in 1881 'Commissioner to Administrator Probate Chief Clerk C/S (presumably 'Civil Service'), and his wife (m. 1853) Sarah, née Cooper. Kezia's brother Christopher appears in Alumni Oxonienses, their father being called 'John, of Bangor, gent.' These records do however indicate her name was spelled without the 'h', contrary to my previous thought.

John D'Oyly Watkins (his christening record gives the apostrophe) was son of John Prentice Watkins (1798-1850) and his wife Kezia. Their other children were William D'Oyly and Kezia Emily. According to his christening record, John Prentice Watkins was son of Daniel Watkins and Mary.

I did a general search for marriages between 'Watkins' and 'D'Oyly' and came up with nothing; my theory currently is that the name entered the Watkins family either with John Prentice Watkins's wife Kezia (as in, it may have been her maiden name) or Mary, wife of Daniel Watkins, but as no records seemed to verify this hypothesis I can't say I'm very sure! At any rate I've not managed to connect to any notable family of the name, but that doesn't mean there isn't such a link.
