Caroline Seebohm, prolific biographer, died July 22, 2023, according to the Aug. 6, 2023 editions of The New York Times. Born in Nottinghamshire, Nov. 14, 1940, she was the daughter of Frederic Seebohm, Baron Seebohm (1909-90), deputy chairman of Barclays Bank and a life peer (1972), and his wife Evangeline Hurst. She was married twice: in 1962 to Roger John Smith -- (div. 1967), and in 1974 to Walter Heulings Lippincott Jr., from a prominent American family -- (div. 1993). Survived by her children, Sophie Lippincott Ferrer and Hugh Lippincott, grandchildren Hudson, Archie and Josie Ferrer, brother Richard Seebom and sister Victoria Glendinning, CBE (1937), also a prolific biographer.

SEEBOHM Caroline died peacefully on 22nd July 2023, aged 82, at Lawrenceville NJ. Loving mother of Sophie and Hugh Lippincott.
