From the Telegraph of 22 May 2024: THISTLETHWAYTE Mary Katherine died peacefully on 15th May 2024, aged 86. Beloved wife of Robin, mother of Mark, Hugo and Sophy, and grandmother to Edward, Tatiana, Rosie, Orlando, Jack, Harry, Cosima, Lisabel and Elodie. A private family cremation will be followed by a Memorial Service at St James Without-the-Priory Gate Church, Southwick, Hampshire… at 3 p.m. on 30th August 2024.

She was d Lt-Gen Sir (Arthur) Edward GRASETT KBE CB DSO MC 1888-1971 and Joan Mary FOSTER 1899-1982. She m 1964 (John) Robin 1935-2019 s of Arthur Donald Claude Thomas THISTLETHWAYTE 1903-56 scion of that gentry family and Hon Gwladys Eileen BERRY 1908-55 d of 1st & only Baron BUCKLAND 1877-1928 and Gwladys Mary SANDBROOK 1884-1971, and had two sons and a dau as above.
