From the Times of 30 January 2019: BOWLBY (Jane) Naomi Blanche Thoburm (née McGaw) died peacefully on 23rd January 2019, aged 98, of Vere Lodge, wife of the late George Bowlby. The thanksgiving will take place at St Mary's Church, East Raynham, on Wednesday 6th February, at 3pm. Donations to PACT animal sanctuary care of Fakenham and District Funeral Services Ltd.

She was d of John Thoburn McGAW (1872-1952), scion of the gentry family of that name of St Leonard's Forest, and Pauline Blanche (1878-1967) d of Alfred TATE (1845-1913 s of Sir Henry TATE 1st Bt (1819-99)) and Blanche HUTTON (c1852-1939). She m 1st 1948 (reg Q3 London) Lt-Col Franklin Stuart WILDER. She m 2nd 1961 (reg Q3 Westmorland), as his 2nd McGaw wife (Naomi was his 1st wife's aunt), Maj George Molesworth Salvin (1918-2000) s of Russell Frank BOWLBY (1890-1980), scion of the gentry family of that name of Culverthorpe Hall, and Mary DENE [1892-1975], scion of the MOLESWORTH Bts etc, and had a son and a dau.
