Mr O.C.R. Close-Brooks and Miss E.H. Wilson
The engagement is announced between Oliver, elder son of the late Mr
Jonathan Close-Brooks and of Mrs Rosemary Close-Brooks, of Great
Glemham, Suffolk, and Emma, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs Geoffrey
Wilson, of Woodbridge, Suffolk.

Oliver Charles Roger (b 1978) is the son of Jonathan Roger (1943-2000,
s of Roger CLOSE-BROOKS of The Geogian House, St George's Hill,
Weybridge, Surrey) and (Carolyn E) Rosemary d of Brig Gilbert WELLS of
Abbotts Ann, Andover, Hampshire.
Roger CLOSE-BROOKS' father, John Charles CLOSE-BROOKS, m Marie Agnes
Beresford (b 1904), dau of Maj-Gen Beresford LOVETT CB CSI
(1839-1926), scion of that gentry family formerly of Liscombe. So, the
prospective groom's gt gt gt grandfather was a younger son of a minor
gentry family.
