Lieutenant-Colonel (Simon) Peter Kerr-Smiley, late the Queen's Own
Highlanders; sometime Queen's Messenger, scion of the Smiley Baronets
(UK 1903), died 7 March, 2008.
He was b 1934 son of Lt.-Col. Cyril Hugh Kerr-Smiley, TD (1906-80), by
his wife Agnes (d 1986), descended from the Barons Tollemache, dau of
Lt-Col George Cecil Minett Sorel Cameron, CBE; married 1960 (div 1981)
Jennifer Guise Tucker, dau of Lt-Col Thomas Guise Tucker, MC, and
leaves issue, (i) Mark Alexander, b 1961, Robert Justin b 1965, and
Emma Caroline Hyde, b 1963.
