From the Telegraph & Times of 14 June 2022: IRBY Sarah (née Sutherland) on 30th May 2022, aged 75, at home. Kind friend to many, loving mother to Nicholas and Caroline, proud grandmother to Laszlo, Elodie, Sienna and Max. Private family funeral. Thanksgiving service to be announced at a later date. She was d of Lt-Col David George Carr SUTHERLAND CBE MC TD 1920-2006 sometime head of that Scots gentry family of Medwynhead (2xgt gs of Sir Richard Carr GLYN 1st Bt 1755-1838) and Jean Beatrice 1919-63 d of Robert Evelyn HENDERSON 1880-1925 sometime head of that gentry family f/o Sedgwick Park and Beatrice Janet Elsie 1891-1980 (d of Sir William Francis CLERKE 11th Bt 1856-1930). She m 1971 Charles Leonard Anthony 1945-2015 s of Maj Hon Anthony Paul IRBY 1908-86 (2xgt gs of 2nd Baron BOSTON 1749-1825) and Countess Marie Juliane Katherine Gabrielle APPONYI c1914-1952, and had a son and a dau (Caroline Sarah b 1977(Viscountess Combermere) who m 6th Viscount COMBERMERE b 1969 and has issue).
