Trying to locate the present Earl of Stradbroke's children, spouses and descendants. I am sure it will be LARGE by now.

Cannot locate online or in any of the Peerages, which are not up-to-date.

Interesting that you should mention this, as I was asking myself a similar question today, I think that Viscount Dunwich has issue but I am not sure if he is married. Shijinee is usually very good at finding out this kind of information.

It was by chance I read that the Earl was selling his Victorian property and now his English property, hence dividing it amongst his many descendants before he dies and looses much to death duties.. I last read, some years ago, some of his daughters had children out of wedlock.. but it will be interesting to see todays's listings.

Thank you in advance.

Yes I read about the Victorian property being on the market for $40,000,000, though I didn't think that the Ancestral seat was up for sale as it was being converted into an hotel. I would have thought that with $40million there should be more than enough for 15 children. If they sell the English property which has been in their family since Tudor times it would be a great shame as in a couple generations they are likely to have very little if anything of distinction in terms of family property; I for one would not want to be the one that let the side down so to speak.

True, but in this day and age, given 15 children equal share isn't easy either.

Thankfully in Australia, death duties are not on the books just yet..

So far as I am aware the property has not been sold.
Here is a link to a story when it was offered for sale last year:

An email from Hon Hektor Rous:

"I married Sarah Anastasia Bellingham on the 14th August 2014 and we had a beautiful baby girl on the 3rd September 2015 named Alexandria Rose Rous

The English estate is certainly not for sale and I have been restoring the parkland and the buildings very carefully since taking over in 2004. Henham Park has been in my family for almost 500 years and I have strong hopes for the next 500"

Does anyone have any information on the marriages of the sons of the 6th earl and any male issue from those marriages? Debretts 2011 lists  Maximillian as being married with not precise date. Also does anyone have any information on White Lion House and whether or not this estate is still in the family?
