From the Times of 3 Oct 2025: MACPHERSON Jean Henrietta Stewart, twin daughter of David and Dorothy Butler Wilson, born 20th August 1930, widow of Sir Thomas Macpherson CBE, MC**, TD, DL, died peacefully on 14th September 2025. A much-loved mother to Angus, Ishbel and Duncan; a devoted grandmother to Tom, Lochy, Fiona, Alasdair, Archie, Ines and Mariota and cherished great-grandmother to Francesca and Angus. She will be greatly missed. Funeral service at 11am at Laggan Church, Laggan, Inverness-shire… on Friday 10th October 2025. All welcome. No flowers please. Donations, if desired to Clan Macpherson Museum Trust, Main street, Newtonmore, Inverness-shire... A memorial service will be held at a later date in St Columba’s Church, Pont Street, London…

She was the d of David BUTLER WILSON of Alderley Edge, Cheshire and Dorothy _. She m 1953 Sir (Ronald) Thomas Stewart MACPHERSON CBE MC TD 1920-2014 of Biallid (gs of James MACPHERSON 1848-1922 who was f of 1^st Baron STRATHCARRON 1880-1937), and had two sons and a dau as above.
