From the Telegraph 8 Jan 2021: WINDHAM William Ashe Dymoke, aged 94, of Glasbury, Powys, peacefully on 5th January. Beloved husband of Alison, father to Ashe, Emma and Will, and grandfather to Archie, Lara, Jake, Max and Tamara. Thanksgiving service to be announced later.

He was s of Lt-Col Henry Steuart WINDHAM (1873-1958, gt gs of Sir William SMIJTH 7th Bt (1746-1823, now BOWYER Bts cr 1661)) and Marjorie Russell (d 1971) d of Henry McClean DYMOCK [sic], and had two sons and a dau as above

his paternal grandmother was Clarissa Russell, of the Dukes of Bedford.

They were descended from an ancient Norfolk family, one of whom, also William Windham, was William Pitt’s secretary of state for war....
