there is a photograph of his gravestone

on which it says that his daughter Caroline Anne Firbank is also buried there. Her dates are given as 1943-2 July 2007.

Caroline is not listed in Burke's or Debrett's, as far as I can tell, and John is said not to have married until 1949.
