From the Telegraph of 26 Oct 2024: Mr J.C. Straker and Anna-Carolina, Archduchess of Austria - The engagement is announced between Jack, eldest son of the late Mr James Straker and of Mrs Straker, of Hexham, Northumberland, and Anna-Carolina, eldest daughter of Eduard and Marie Therese, Archduke and Archduchess of Austria.

John (Jack) Constable b 1990 eldest s of James Andrew John STRAKER 1959-2022 scion of that gentry family of Stagshaw (and of the BAKER-CRESSWELL gentry f/o Creswell, as well 3xgt gs of 1st Baron DENMAN 1779-1854) by his 1988 m to Rodrica Consuelo b 1963 d of John Raleigh CHICHESTER-CONSTABLE 1927-2011 sometime head of that gentry family of Burton Constable and Laurel Gay SAWBRIDGE 1935-89.

Anna-Carolina b 1996 d of Eduard Karl Joseph Michael Marcus Antonius Koloman Volkhold Maria HAPSBURG-LOTHRINGEN b 1967 Archduke of Austria and Marie Therese von GUDENUS b 1967 (a descendant of Archduke John of Austria 1782-1859 – Wiki)

He will have many interesting descents, but here is one:

Through the Chichester-Constables and the Baker-Cresswells, he descends from the marriage of Sir William Gordon Gordon-Cumming, 2nd Bt. (20 Jul 1787-25 Nov 1854) and his first wife, Eliza Maria Campbell (d.1842), herself a maternal granddaughter of the 5th Duke of Argyll.

I originally wrote, and then deleted: "Rodrica Consuela Chichester-Constable's mother was Inez Quilter, of the Baronets, a descendant of the marriage between the 3rd Lord Lyttelton and his wife, Lady Sarah Spencer."

Sorry.. I'm wrong about that. Inez Quilter was her step-grandmother, I think. As Richard said, Rodrica's mother must have been Laurel Gay Sawbridge.

Marlene Eilers Koenig has stated on nobiliana.de that Archduke Eduard, the bride's father, has told her that the wedding took place privately in a church in Austria.  So no spread in Hola...
