The engagement was announced 10 Nov 2008 between Riccardo Lanza, son
of Count and Countess Lanza, of London and Venice, and the Lady
Kinvara Rachel Balfour (b 1975), 2nd daughter of the Earl of Balfour
(b 1948), of Burpham, West Sussex, by his wife the Countess of Balfour
(nee the Lady Tessa Fitzalan Howard b 1950), 1st dau of the 17th Duke
of Norfolk, KG.

Lady Kinvara strikes back

The Duke of Norfolk's flirty niece Lady Kinvara Balfour was left
devastated at the end of her two-year relationship with Castaway heart-
throb Ben Fogle.

After a fling with Big Brother contestant Vanessa Nimmo - Ben, 32, is
now dating children's party organiser Marina Hunt.

Yet, in a strange twist, Kinvara, 30, has found love with a fellow
aristocrat who just happens to be Marina's ex-boyfriend. The lucky
chap is dashing Italian count Riccardo Lanza, the London-based
director of a bespoke holiday firm.

"Marina went out with Riccardo for three years, but broke up with him
when she got together with Ben," I'm told by a friend. "It's early
days with Kinvara and Riccardo, but they seem keen on each other."
