From the Telegraph of 19 July 2023: BUXTON Simon Campden died aged 80 on 7th July after a long illness. Husband to Ally, Dads to Katie and Chris, Gramps to Patrick, Louis, Ava and Beatrice. Family burial at St Thomas' Church, Upshire. Memorial Service on 22nd August at Church of the Holy Cross, Sherston, Wiltshire at 11 a.m. Family flowers only but donations if wished to Dorothy House Hospice Care, Winsley, Bradford-on-Avon…

He was s of 2nd Baron NOEL-BUXTON 1917-80 (gs of Sir Thomas Fowell BUXTON 3rd Bt 1837-1915) and his 1st w Helen Nancy 1910-49 d of Col Kenneth Hugh Munro CONNAL CB OBE TD 1869-1949 by his 19 June 1901 m (Glasgow) to Kitty MacIndoe COCHRAN c1874-1952. He m 1981 Alison (Ally) D d of S J LIDDELL, and had a son and a dau:

1. Christopher John Noel b 1988 m 2018 Margaret BABINGTON and has issue

Simon Campden BUXTON was the heir presumptive to the 4th Baron Noel-Buxton, his nephew.

The new heir presumptive, as outlined above, is his son Christopher John Noel (b. 1988).  Second in line is Christopher's only son Patrick Rufus Noel, b. 2019.
