From the Telegraph and Times of 26 September 2014: BALFOUR Dr Anthony John Chetwynd (Tony) CBE died on 21st September 2014. Beloved husband of Mary, much loved father of Peter, Ella and Harry and cherished grandfather of Louis, Jack and David. Funeral at Amersham Crematorium on Saturday 11th October 2014 at 12.15 p.m. Family flowers only please. If desired, donations to Aylesbury Astronomy Society via Howard Chadwick F/S, 33 Benson Lane, Crowmarsh, Wallingford, Oxon OX10 8ED.
He was s of Hon Harry Robert Chichester BALFOUR (1882-1964, s of 1st Baron KINROSS), and Dorothy Constance (1895-1963) d of Henry Goulburn Willoughby CHETWYND (1858-1909),scion of the CHETWYND viscounts and MACDONALD OF SLATE barons. He m 1st 1958 Judith Ann Margaret (1928-98) d of Leslie Field ANDERSON (1895-1979) of Worthing, and had 2 sons and a dau. He m 2nd 2000 Mary Katherine Martin FRCP d of Frederick Richard LINDSAY of Sherbourne, Dorset.
