From the Times of 19 May 2016: ST CLAIR-FORD Sir Robin Bt on 12th May 2016, in the company of his family. Husband of Alison, father of Sam and Peter and grandfather of Lily. So much-loved by his family and his many friends. Private cremation, followed by funeral service at 14.30, on Friday 3rd June, at St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral Edinburgh.

He was s of Drummond ST CLAIR-FORD (1907-42, gt gs of 2nd Bt) and Norah Elizabeth MABERLY (d 1999). He m 1980 Alison Frances (b 1948 reg Q4 Bristol) d of William Greenfield C DICKSON (1911-72) of Bath and Margaret A BROWN, and had two sons, of whom the elder succeeds him:

Sir (William) Sam ST CLAIR-FORD 10th Bt (b 1982), has yet to establish his claim and appear on the Official Roll of the Baronetage. He m 2011 Kate Esther Anne (b 1982 reg Edinburgh ref 734/00 0486) d of Brian HENDERSON of Edinburgh. Is Lily (mentioned above) their dau?

The new Bt's heir is his brother, 1. PETER JAMES (b 1984). His engagement was announced on 22 April 2016 to Angela d of Jack JENG of San Diego and Mrs Florence WENG of Los Angeles.
