From the Telegraph of 14 Oct 2021: GIBBINGS Sir Peter Walter Died peacefully at home on 11th October. Beloved husband of Louise, much loved father of Sarah, Jane and Dominic and proud grandfather of Harriet, Fred and Juno. Private family cremation. A memorial service will be held next year.
He was s of Walter White GIBBINGS 1882-1963 by his 1925 m reg Q2 London Margaret Russell 1890-1963 dau of James Watt TRORRANCE 1854-1917 and Margaret Russell DUFF 1860-1949. He m 1st Elspeth Felicia MACINTOSH, and had two daus as above. He m 2nd 1975 Hon Louise Barbara LAMBERT b 1944 d of Lt-Col 2nd Viscount LAMBERT TD [MP] 1909-89 and Patricia Mary 1911-91 d of Joseph Francis QUINN of London by his 1903 m reg Q2 Dublin to Mary Josephine CARTON, and had a son as above.
