CUNNINGHAM REID, Noel, passed away at home on 26th September 2017, aged 86 years. Dearly loved husband of Dewny, much loved father, stepfather and grandfather. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday 9th October at St John's Church, Little Wilbraham, CB21 5LE at 11.30 a.m. All welcome. Noel CUNNINGHAM REID was b 1930 s of Captain Alec Stratford CUNNINGHAM-REID and Hon. Ruth Mary Clarisse ASHLEY d of 1st and only BARON MOUNT TEMPLE (cr 1932), and scion of EARLS of SHAFTESBURY, DUKES of MARLBOROUGH, etc.

He m Tessa Milne MOORE (died 2014) in 1960. They were divorced by 1984. They had two sons and one daughter:

    Mark James CUNNINGHAM-REID b. 1962

    Jane Mary CUNNINGHAM-REID b. 1964

    Charles Ashley CUNNINGHAM-REID b. 1968

Per the death notice he remarried, but I do not know anything about that.

There's a 1997 marriage record between Noel R. Cunningham-Reid and Wendy M. Seely at Hay, Brecknockshire; given 'Dewny' is an anagram of 'Wendy' this would seem to be the right one (notwithstanding, I suppose, the unlikelihood of there being too many Noel R. Cunningham-Reids!)

Does anyone happen to know, is she connected to the Seely baronets or Barons Mottistone? Her parents, it seems based on a quick search of records, were Edward J. Seely and Edna M. (née Bishop). Couldn't find anything on a cursory search.

I realise that this information may be several years late to the discussion but ...

On the back of genealogical research, Wendy Seely in this reference was born Wendy Hutchinson. She is an actress. Her first marriage was to James Richard Francis Seely. They had two sons, Christian James Russell Seely and Jonathan Sebastian Seely. James and Wendy divorced (I do not have a date or any details) Then Wendy married Noel, as outlined already.
