Princess Margarita died quietly late yesterday evening (15 January 2013)

HGDH Princess Margarita Alice Thyra Viktoria Marie Louise Scholastica of Baden (1932-2013), only da of HRH late Margrave Berthold Friedrich Wilhelm Ernst August Karl of Baden, and HRH Princess Theodora of Greece and Denmark. She m 1957 (div 1981) HRH Prince TOMISLAV of Yugoslavia (b 1928) and had a son (Prince Nikola of Yugoslavia b 1958) and a dau (Princess Katarina of Yugoslavia b 1959)

I met HGDH on several occasions. A formidable character!

Here's the death notice from the Times of 19 January 2013:

von BADEN: HRH Princess Margarita, passed away on the 15th January 2013, at her home in Farnham, Surrey, following a courageous battle with ill health over many years. She was the niece of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh and the former wife of HRH the late Prince Tomislav of Yugoslavia. She leaves two children, a son, HRH Prince Nicholas and a daughter, HRH Princess Katarina, Lady de Silva. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon on the 24th January, at the Serbian Orthodox Church of St Sava, 89 Lancaster Road, London W11 1QQ. No flowers. Donations, if desired, may be made payable to the Church.

Note the style used is HRH (which she was by marriage) rather than HGDH (which she was by birth).
