He was s of Lt-Col Michael WHITE of Slaveen, Macroom, co Cork. He m 1961 Elizabeth Susan b 1940 d of Maj-Gen Sir (Kilner) Rupert BRAZIER-CREAGH KBE CB DSO 1909-2002 scion of the BRASIER-CREAGH [sic] Irish gentry family and his 1 w Elizabeth Mary 1913-67 d of Edward Manuel MAGOR 1876-1954 and Oliver Shirley 1884-1982 d of John Eardley YERBURGH 1850-1924 (s of Richard YERBURGH 1817-86 who was gf of 1 Baron ALVINGHAM 1889-1955) and Anne (Annie) 1878-1917 d of Joseph ROYDEN 1833-95 (bro of Sir Thomas Bland ROYDEN 1 Bt 1831-1917) and Mary Elizabeth ELLIS 1832-1906, and had three daus.
