From the Times of 4 May 2019: MR O J PHILLIPS AND MISS F M B BROOKS The engagement is announced between Oliver, eldest son of HHJ Simon Phillips QC and the Hon Sophia Phillips of Mickley, North Yorkshire, and Florence, eldest daughter of Mr Bertie Brooks and the late Emma Brooks of Beckley, Oxfordshire.
Oliver John (b 1989) s of (His Honour Judge) Simon Benjamin PHILLIPS QC (b 1961) and Hon Sophia Rosalind VANE (b 1962) d of 11th Baron BARNARD (1923-2016) and Lady Davina Mary CECIL (b 1931, d of 6th Marquess of EXETER (1905-81) and Lady Mary Theresa MONTAGU DOUGLAS SCOTT (1904-84, d of 7th Duke of BUCCLEUCH etc etc)), hence kin of the Gloks, through Princess ALICE Duchesss of GLOUCESTER.
